Saad bin Hisham reported,

I came to Ayesha and said, "Umm Muiminin, tell me about the character of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ."She replied, "His character was the Quran. Do you not read the Quran, the words of Allah , 'And indeed, you are of a great moral character' [Qalam 68:4]?"I said, "I wish to live a celibate life."She said, "Do not do so. Have you not read 'There has certainly been for you in the Messenger of Allah an excellent example' [Ahzab 33:21]? The Messenger of Allah ﷺ married and had children."

عن سعد بن هشام بن عامر قال

أتيت عائشة فقلت يا أم المؤمنين أخبريني بخلق رسول الله ﷺ قالت كان خلقه القرآن أما تقرأ القرآن قول الله عز وجل {وإنك لعلى خلق عظيم} قلت فإني أريد أن أتبتل قالت لا تفعل أما تقرأ {لقد كان لكم في رسول الله أسوة حسنة} فقد تزوج رسول الله ﷺ وقد ولد له
