Ayesha informed him that the Prophet ﷺ used to pray eleven units at night. That was his prayer. He would prolong each prostration to the length of time it would take one of you to recite fifty verses before raising his head. Then he would pray two units before the dawn prayer, after which he would lie down on his right side until the caller came to summon him for the prayer.
حدثنا أبو اليمان قال أخبرنا شعيب عن الزهري قال أخبرني
أن عائشة أخبرته أن النبي ﷺ كان يصلي إحدى عشرة ركعة بالليل كانت تلك صلاته يسجد السجدة من ذلك بقدر ما يقرأ أحدكم خمسين آية قبل أن يرفع رأسه ويركع ركعتين قبل صلاة الفجر ثم يضطجع على شقه الأيمن حتى يأتيه المنادي للصلاة
