The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite in the Friday dawn prayer Alif Lam Mim Tanzil and Hal ata ala al-insan hinun mina al-dahr.
حدثنا حسين حدثنا شريك عن أبي إسحاق
كان رسول الله ﷺ يقرأ في صلاة الفجر يوم الجمعة الم تنزيل وهل أتى على الإنسان حين من الدهر
Its isnad is daif because it is mursal. Abu Ahwas is al-Jushami, whose name is Awf bin Malik bin Nadla, and he is a trustworthy tabii. He narrated this hadith as mursal, and the Imam only related it here for the sake of the following connected hadith which is similar to it. See 1993.
