The Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed away, or was taken, or died, with his head resting between my throat and my chin. After what I witnessed of the Messenger of Allah's ﷺ suffering, I will never again find the agony of death distressing for anyone.
حدثنا منصور بن سلمة قال أخبرنا ليث عن يزيد بن الهاد عن عبد الرحمن بن القاسم عن أبيه
توفي رسول الله ﷺ أو قبض أو مات وهو بين حاقنتي وذاقنتي فلا أكره شدة الموت لأحد أبدا بعد الذي رأيت برسول الله ﷺ
