Abdullah bin Amir sent some money and clothing to Ayesha. She said to the messenger, "My son, I do not accept anything from anyone."When he had left, she said, "Bring him back to me." So they brought him back.She said, "I just remembered something the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me. He said, 'Ayesha, whoever gives you a gift without your asking for it, accept it, for it is provision that Allah has presented to you.'"
حدثنا منصور بن سلمة قال حدثنا ليث عن يزيد بن الهاد عن عمرو
أن عبد الله بن عامر بعث إلى عائشة بنفقة وكسوة فقالت للرسول إني يا بني لا أقبل من أحد شيئا فلما خرج قالت ردوه علي فردوه فقالت إني ذكرت شيئا قاله لي رسول الله ﷺ قال يا عائشة من أعطاك عطاء بغير مسألة فاقبليه فإنما هو رزق عرضه الله لك
