The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whatever amount of a drink would intoxicate you if you drank a farq of it, then even a handful of it is forbidden."
حدثنا خلف بن الوليد حدثنا الربيع عن أبي عثمان الأنصاري قال وأحسن الثناء عليه قال حدثني القاسم بن محمد بن أبي بكر أن
قال رسول الله ﷺ ما أسكر الفرق منه إذا شربته فملء الكف منه حرام
Its isnad is sahih. Abu Uthman Ansari, the judge of Marw, is a person whose name is disputed, but he is trustworthy, deemed reliable by Abu Dawud and Ibn Hibban. Rabi is Ibn Sabih, trustworthy, one of the earliest generation of hadith compilers.The hadith was narrated by Abu Dawud 3/29 no. 3687, and Tirmidhi 4/293 no. 1866, who graded it hasan, both in the chapter on drinks. Hakim graded it sahih 3/413, and Dhahabi agreed with him.
