The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Any woman who marries without the permission of her guardian, her marriage is invalid. If he has consummated the marriage with her, she is entitled to her dowry in return for what he has had of her. If they dispute, then the ruler is the guardian of whoever has no guardian."

قال رسول الله ﷺ أيما امرأة نكحت بغير إذن وليها فنكاحها باطل فإن أصابها فلها مهرها بما أصاب من فرجها وإن اشتجروا فالسلطان ولي من لا ولي له
