Abu Salama entered upon Ayesha while he was in a dispute over a piece of land.Ayesha said, "Abu Salama, stay away from that land, for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Whoever wrongfully takes a hand-span of land will have it placed around his neck on the Day of Resurrection from the depth of seven earths.'"
حدثنا يونس حدثنا أبان عن يحيى
أنه دخل على عائشة وهو يخاصم في أرض فقالت عائشة يا أبا سلمة اجتنب الأرض فإن رسول الله ﷺ قال من ظلم قيد شبر من الأرض طوقه يوم القيامة من سبع أرضين
Its chain of transmission is sahih. Bukhari narrated it, 5/103, no. 4252, in the chapter on injustices, as did Muslim, 3/1230, no. 1610, in the chapter on irrigation contracts, and Darimi, 2/346, no. 2606.
