Ayesha said, "We had a mat which we would spread out during the day and use to partition off a small space for ourselves at night. One night the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed inside it, and the people in the mosque heard his prayer. The next morning they spoke about it to others, so on the second night a larger crowd gathered. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ looked out at them and said, 'Take on only as much of the deeds as you can sustain, for Allah does not tire until you tire.'"Ayesha also said, "The deeds most beloved to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ were those done consistently, even if small. Whenever he established a particular prayer, he would maintain it."Yazid said, "A mat which we would spread out by day and use to partition off a space at night."
