I was never as jealous of any woman as I was of Khadijah, even though she had died three years before he married me. This was because of how often I heard him mention her. His Lord had commanded him to give her glad tidings of a house in Paradise made of hollow pearls. Whenever he slaughtered a sheep, he would send portions of it to her close friends.

ما غرت على امرأة ما غرت على خديجة ولقد هلكت قبل أن يتزوجني بثلاث سنين لما كنت أسمعه يذكرها ولقد أمره ربه عز وجل أن يبشرها ببيت من قصب في الجنة وإن كان ليذبح الشاة ثم يهدي في خلتها منها
Its isnad is sahih. Bukhari related it, 7/133, no. 3817, in the Merits of the Companions, as did Muslim, 4/1888, no. 2435, in the Merits of the Companions, and Tirmidhi, 5/702, no. 3875, saying, hasan sahih gharib. And Ibn Majah, 1/643, no. 1997, in Marriage.
