Abdullah bin Abbas reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ departed from Arafat, instructing the people to maintain calm. He took Usama bin Zayd as his companion behind him on his mount and said, "People, hold to calm and dignity, for righteousness does not consist in driving camels and horses hard." I did not see a single camel raising its forelegs in a gallop until they reached Jam.Then he took Fadl bin Abbas behind him from Jam to Mina, saying, "People, hold to calm and dignity, for righteousness does not consist in driving camels and horses hard." عن ابن عباس قال

فأفاض رسول الله ﷺ من عرفة وأمرهم بالسكينة وأردف أسامة بن زيد وقال يا أيها الناس عليكم بالسكينة والوقار فإن البر ليس بإيجاف الإبل والخيل فما رأيت ناقة رافعة يدها عادية حتى بلغت جمعا ثم أردف الفضل بن عباس من جمع إلى منى وهو يقول يا أيها الناس عليكم بالسكينة والوقار فإن البر ليس بإيجاف الإبل والخيل فما رأيت ناقة رافعة يدها عادية حتى بلغت منى
