Ayesha reported,

A Jewish woman came to me asking for charity, and she said, "May Allah protect you from the punishment of the grave."So when the Prophet ﷺ came, I said, "Messenger of Allah, will we be punished in the graves?"He replied, "I seek refuge in Allah from that."Then he rode out on a mount, and the sun became eclipsed. I went out and was among the women behind the chambers. The Prophet ﷺ came back from his ride and went to his prayer place, and the people prayed behind him. He stood and prolonged the standing, then bowed and prolonged the bowing, then raised his head and prolonged the standing, then bowed and prolonged the bowing, then raised his head and prolonged the standing, then prostrated and prolonged the prostration. Then he stood again, but for a shorter time than his first standing, then bowed for less than his first bowing, then stood for less than his first standing, then bowed for less than his first bowing, then prostrated for less than his first prostration. So it was four bowings and four prostrations.Then the sun became clear, and he said, "You will be tested in the graves like the trial of the Dajjal."She said, After that I heard him seeking refuge in Allah from the punishment of the grave.

حدثنا يحيى عن يحيى بن سعيد قال حدثتني عمرة قالت

سمعت عائشة تقول

جاءتني يهودية تسألني فقالت أعاذك الله من عذاب القبر فلما جاء النبي ﷺ قلت يا رسول الله أنعذب في القبور قال عائذ بالله فركب مركبا فخسفت الشمس فخرجت فكنت بين الحجر مع النسوة فجاء النبي ﷺ من مركبه فأتى مصلاه فصلى الناس وراءه فقام فأطال القيام ثم ركع فأطال الركوع ثم رفع رأسه فأطال القيام ثم ركع فأطال الركوع ثم رفع رأسه فأطال القيام ثم سجد فأطال السجود ثم قام أيسر من قيامه الأول ثم ركع أيسر من ركوعه الأول ثم قام أيسر من قيامه الأول ثم ركع أيسر من ركوعه الأول ثم سجد أيسر من سجوده الأول فكانت أربع ركعات وأربع سجدات فتجلت الشمس فقال إنكم تفتنون في القبور كفتنة الدجال قالت فسمعته بعد ذلك يستعيذ بالله من عذاب القبر
