The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no contagion, no evil omen from birds, no Safar, and no Hamah."Simak mentioned that Safar is a creature that lives in a person's belly.A man said, "Messenger of Allah, what about a mangy camel that infects an entire herd of a hundred?"The Prophet ﷺ replied, "Then who infected the first one?"

أن رسول الله ﷺ قال لا عدوى ولا طيرة ولا صفر ولا هام فذكر سماك أن الصفر دابة تكون في بطن الإنسان فقال رجل يا رسول الله تكون في الإبل الجربة في المائة فتجربها فقال النبي ﷺ فمن أعدى الأول
