The Prophet ﷺ said, "None of you should say, 'My soul has become wicked,' but rather let him say, 'My soul feels uneasy.'"
حدثنا يحيى حدثنا هشام حدثني أبي
عن النبي ﷺ قال لا يقولن أحدكم خبثت نفسي ولكن ليقل لقست
Its isnad is sahih. Bukhari narrated it (563, no. 6179, Fath, in "Manners"), and Muslim (4/1765, no. 2250 and after, in "Expressions"), and Abu Dawud (4/295, no. 4979, in "Manners").
