The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The one who recites the Quran skillfully will be in the company of the noble and righteous scribes, and the one who recites it with difficulty, struggling through it, will have two rewards."
حدثنا إسماعيل قال أخبرنا هشام عن قتادة عن زرارة بن أوفى عن سعد بن هشام
قال رسول الله ﷺ الذي يقرأ القرآن وهو ماهر به مع السفرة الكرام البررة والذي يقرؤه وهو عليه شاق فله أجران
Its isnad is sahih. Zurara bin Awfa Amiri was the judge of Basra, trustworthy, and his hadith is found among the group of hadith compilers. The same applies to Saad bin Hisham Ansari, the martyred fighter.The hadith was narrated by Bukhari, 8/691, no. 4937, in the tafsir of Surah Abasa. And Muslim, in the Travelers chapter, 1/549, no. 798. And Abu Dawud, in the chapter on Witr, 2/70, no. 1454. And Tirmidhi, in the merits of the Quran, 5/171, no. 2904, where he said, hasan sahih. And Ibn Majah, 2/1242, no. 3779, in the chapter on manners.
