The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to seek protection for some members of his household, passing his right hand over the person and saying, "Take away the affliction, Lord of mankind, and grant healing, for You are the Healer. There is no healing but Your healing, a healing that leaves no illness behind."The narrator said, I mentioned this to Mansur, and he related to me from Ibrahim, from Masruq, from Ayesha, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to seek protection for some members of his household, passing his right hand over the person and saying, "Take away the affliction, Lord of mankind, and grant healing, for You are the Healer. There is no healing but Your healing, a healing that leaves no illness behind."
