The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was not more diligent in observing any voluntary prayer than the two units before the dawn prayer.
حدثنا يحيى حدثنا ابن جريج حدثني عطاء عن عبيد بن عمير
لم يكن رسول الله ﷺ على شيء من النوافل أشد معاهدة من الركعتين قبل الصبح
Its isnad is sahih. Bukhari narrated it, 3/45, no. 1169, Fath al-Bari, in tahajjud, and Muslim, 1/501, no. 724, in prayer.
