A piece of cooked and dried gazelle meat was presented as a gift to the Prophet ﷺ while he was in the state of ihram, and he refused it.Sufyan said, "The washiqah is meat that has been cooked and then dried."
حدثنا سفيان عن عبد الكريم عن قيس بن مسلم الجدلي عن الحسن بن محمد بن علي
أهدي للنبي ﷺ وشيقة ظبي وهو محرم فردها قال سفيان الوشيقة ما طبخ وقدد
Its isnad is sahih. Abdul-Kareem is Ibn Abu Makhariq, and he is trustworthy, his hadith appearing in Muslim. Qays bin Muslim Jadali is trustworthy, his hadith appearing in the Jamaah. Hasan bin Muhammad bin Ali is also trustworthy, his hadith appearing in the Jamaah. The hadith was narrated by Abu Yaala 1/83, number 4616, and Haythami attributed it to both of them 3/230, saying, "The men of Ahmad are the men of the Sahih." It also appears in Abdul-Razzaq 4/427, number 8324.
