The Prophet ﷺ said to her when she began menstruating at Sarif before entering Mecca, "Perform all the rites that a pilgrim performs, except do not circumambulate the House."She said, "When we were at Mina, some beef was brought to me. I asked, 'What is this?' They said, 'The Prophet ﷺ sacrificed a cow on behalf of his wives.'"

أن النبي ﷺ قال لها وحاضت بسرف قبل أن تدخل مكة قال لها اقضي ما يقضي الحاج غير أن لا تطوفي بالبيت قالت فلما كنا بمنى أتيت بلحم بقر قلت ما هذا قالوا ضحى النبي ﷺ عن أزواجه بالبقر
