Abdullah bin Abbas reported,

Two men came to the Prophet of Allah ﷺ with the same need. One of them spoke, and the Prophet of Allah ﷺ noticed an unpleasant odor from his mouth.He said to him, "Why don't you use the tooth-stick?"The man replied, "I do use it, but I have not eaten any food for three days."So the Prophet ﷺ instructed one of the men to take him in and provide for him, and he attended to his need.

حدثنا حسن حدثنا زهير عن قابوس أن أباه حدثه

عن ابن عباس قال

جاء نبي الله ﷺ رجلان حاجتهما واحدة فتكلم أحدهما فوجد نبي الله ﷺ من فيه إخلافا فقال له ألا تستاك فقال إني لأفعل ولكني لم أطعم طعاما منذ ثلاث فأمر به رجلا فآواه وقضى له حاجته
