We set out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Some of us entered the state of ihram for Hajj, some for Umra, and some for both Hajj and Umra together. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered ihram for Hajj.Those who had entered ihram for Umra exited the state of ihram once they had performed tawaf around the Kaaba and walked between Safa and Marwa. As for those who had entered ihram for Hajj, or for both Hajj and Umra together, they did not exit ihram until the Day of Sacrifice.
حدثنا عبد الرحمن عن مالك عن أبي الأسود عن عروة
خرجنا مع رسول الله ﷺ فمنا من أهل بالحج ومنا من أهل بالعمرة ومنا من أهل بالحج والعمرة وأهل رسول الله ﷺ بالحج فأما من أهل بالعمرة فأحلوا حين طافوا بالبيت وبالصفا والمروة وأما من أهل بالحج أو بالحج والعمرة فلم يحلوا إلى يوم النحر
Its isnad is sahih. Abu Aswad is the orphan of Urwa, and his name is Muhammad bin Abdul-Rahman Nawfali. He is trustworthy, and his hadith is found in the collections of the group. The hadith was mentioned previously at 23951.
