I asked Ayesha about the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ during Ramadan. She replied, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ never prayed more than eleven rakats, whether in Ramadan or outside of it. He would pray four rakats, and do not ask about their beauty and length. Then he would pray another four, and do not ask about their beauty and length. Then he would pray three."I said, "Messenger of Allah, do you sleep before performing witr?"He answered, "Ayesha, my eyes sleep, but my heart does not sleep."
