She reported that the sun was eclipsed, so the Prophet ﷺ prayed. He prolonged the standing, then bowed and prolonged the bowing. Then he raised his head before prostrating and prolonged the standing, though shorter than the first standing. Then he bowed and prolonged it, though shorter than the first bowing. Then he prostrated.Then he stood for the second cycle and did the same as he had done in the first cycle, except that the beginning of each standing was longer than what followed, and the beginning of each bowing was longer than what followed. He completed his prayer just as the sun had cleared.

أنها قالت انكسفت الشمس فصلى النبي ﷺ فأطال القيام ثم ركع فأطال الركوع ثم رفع قبل أن يسجد فأطال القيام وهو دون القيام الأول ثم ركع فأطال دون الركوع الأول ثم سجد ثم قام الثانية ثم فعل مثل ما فعل في الركعة الأولى غير أن أول قيامه أطول من آخره وأول ركوعه أطول من آخره فقضى صلاته وقد تجلت الشمس
