The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade killing the snakes found in houses, except for the short-tailed snake and the one with two white stripes on its back, for these two snatch away eyesight, or he said, blot it out, and cause women to miscarry. Whoever spares them is not one of us.
قال حدثني أبي سمعته وحدي قال حدثنا عباد بن عباد عن هشام بن عروة عن أبيه
أن رسول الله ﷺ نهى عن قتل حيات البيوت إلا الأبتر وذا الطفيتين فإنهما يختطفان أو قال يطمسان الأبصار ويطرحان الحمل من بطون النساء ومن تركهما فليس منا
