The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him, "Would you take charge of a stepdaughter of ours?" The narrator added, "I think she was Zaynab."Later the man came back, and the Prophet ﷺ asked him about her, saying, "What became of the girl?"He replied, "I left her with her mother."The Prophet ﷺ asked, "Then what has brought you here?"He said, "I came so that you might teach me something to say when I go to sleep."He said, "Recite 'Say, you disbelievers' [Kafirun 109:1], then fall asleep upon its ending, for it is a disavowal of shirk."

أن رسول الله ﷺ قال له: هل في ربيبة لنا فتكفلها قال: أراها زينب. ثم جاء فسأله النبي ﷺ عنها، فقال: ما فعلت الجارية؟ قال: تركتها عند أمها. قال: فمجيء ما جاء بك؟ قال: جئت لتعلمني شيئا أقوله عند منامي. فقال: اقرأ: و{قل يا أيها الكافرون} ثم نم على خاتمتها، فإنها براءة من الشرك
