Some men from among the companions of the Prophet ﷺ grieved so deeply when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed away that some of them nearly lost their minds. Uthman said, "I was one of them." He then mentioned a narration similar in meaning to the hadith of Abu al-Yaman from Shuayb.
