Fadala bin Ubayd reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said during the Farewell Pilgrimage, "Shall I not tell you who the Muslim is? The Muslim is the one from whose tongue and hand the Muslims are safe. The believer is the one whom people trust with their wealth and their lives. The emigrant is the one who abandons sins and wrongdoings. And the Mujahid is the one who strives against his own self in obedience to Allah ."

أن رسول الله ﷺ قال في حجة الوداع ألا أخبركم من المسلم من سلم المسلمون من لسانه ويده والمؤمن من أمنه الناس على أموالهم وأنفسهم والمهاجر من هجر الخطايا والذنوب والمجاهد من جاهد نفسه في طاعة الله عز وجل
