The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said on the day of the conquest of Mecca, "There is no migration after the conquest, but rather jihad and intention. So if you are called to march out, then march out."
حدثنا زياد بن عبد الله قال حدثنا منصور عن مجاهد
قال رسول الله ﷺ يوم فتح مكة لا هجرة يقول بعد الفتح ولكن جهاد ونية وإن استنفرتم فانفروا
Its isnad is sahih. Mujahid heard from Ibn Abbas, but this hadith was already mentioned at 1191 as his narration from Tawus from Ibn Abbas. Likewise, everyone who narrated it from Mansur narrated it from him from Mujahid from Tawus from Ibn Abbas, as in the narrations of Bukhari 4:40, 6:30, 28, 132, 202, and Muslim 2:92–93, and Abu Dawud 2:312, and Ahmad in what follows at 2898. So perhaps Ziyad bin Abdullah Bukai made an error in his narration and omitted "from Tawus" from the chain.Hafiz said in Fath al-Bari 4:40, "From Mujahid from Tawus." This is how Mansur narrated it as connected (mawsul), but Amash differed from him, narrating it from Mujahid from the Prophet ﷺ as disconnected (mursal). Saeed bin Mansur reported it from Abu Muawiya from him. He also reported it from Sufyan from Dawud bin Shabur from Mujahid, as mursal. Mansur is reliable and a hafiz, so the ruling favors the connected version.His words "he says, after the conquest" in the manuscript "k" mean "that is, after the conquest."
