Fadala bin Ubayd reported,

We went on a military expedition with the Prophet ﷺ, the expedition of Tabuk. The riding animals became severely exhausted, and the people complained to the Prophet ﷺ about the hardship their mounts were enduring. He waited until they reached a narrow pass, then the Prophet ﷺ entered it and said, "Proceed, in the name of Allah."The people passed through with their mounts, and he began to breathe upon their animals, saying, "O Allah, bear loads upon them in Your path. You are the One who lets the strong and the weak carry burdens, and the fresh and the dry, on land and at sea."He said, "We had not yet reached Madinah when the animals began pulling at their reins from eagerness."Fadala said, "This was the supplication of the Prophet ﷺ for the strong and the weak, but what about the fresh and the dry? When we arrived in Sham, we set out on the naval expedition to Cyprus. When I saw the ships at sea and what was loaded into them, I understood the meaning of the Prophet's ﷺ supplication."
