Amr bin Mirdas reported,

I came to Sham on one occasion, and there was a man with thick lips, or he said with large lips and nose, with weapons laid out before him. People were asking him, and he was saying, "People, take some of these weapons, put them in good order, and strive in the path of Allah . أتيت الشام أتية فإذا رجل غليظ الشفتين أو قال ضخم الشفتين والأنف إذا بين يديه سلاح فسألوه وهو يقول يا أيها الناس خذوا من هذا السلاح واستصلحوه وجاهدوا في سبيل الله عز وجل قال رسول الله ﷺ قلت من هذا قالوا بلال
