The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered the Kaabah, with Uthman bin Talha, Usama bin Zayd, and Bilal having locked it behind them. When he came out, I asked Bilal what the Prophet ﷺ had done inside.Bilal replied, "He left two columns to his right, one column to his left, and three columns behind him, then he prayed, with three cubits between himself and the qiblah."
حدثنا عبد الرحمن حدثنا مالك عن نافع
أن رسول الله ﷺ دخل الكعبة وعثمان بن طلحة وأسامة بن زيد وبلال قد غلقها فلما خرج سألت بلالا ماذا صنع النبي ﷺ قال ترك عمودين عن يمينه وعمودا عن يساره وثلاثة أعمدة خلفه ثم صلى بينه وبين القبلة ثلاثة أذرع
