Mahdi bin Imran Mazini reported,

I heard Abu Tufayl being asked, "Did you see the Messenger of Allah ﷺ?"He replied, "Yes."He was asked, "Did you speak to him?"He answered, "No, but I saw him set out for a certain place, and with him were Abdullah bin Masud and a group of his companions, until he came to a wide house. He said, 'Open this door.' It was opened, and the Prophet ﷺ entered, and I entered with him. There was a velvet sheet in the middle of the room. He said, 'Lift this sheet.' They lifted the sheet, and underneath it was a one-eyed boy. He said, 'Stand up, boy.' The boy stood up. He said, 'Boy, do you bear witness that I am the Messenger of Allah?'The boy replied, 'Do you bear witness that I am the messenger of Allah?'He asked again, 'Do you bear witness that I am the Messenger of Allah?'The boy replied, 'Do you bear witness that I am the messenger of Allah?'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then said twice, 'Seek refuge in Allah from the evil of this one.'"

مهدي بن عمران المازني قال

سمعت أبا الطفيل وسئل هل رأيت رسول الله ﷺ قال نعم قيل فهل كلمته قال لا ولكن رأيته انطلق مكان كذا وكذا ومعه عبد الله بن مسعود وأناس من أصحابه حتى أتى دار قوراء فقال افتحوا هذا الباب ففتح ودخل النبي ﷺ ودخلت معه فإذا قطيفة في وسط البيت فقال ارفعوا هذه القطيفة فرفعوا القطيفة فإذا غلام أعور تحت القطيفة فقال قم يا غلام فقام الغلام فقال يا غلام أتشهد أني رسول الله قال الغلام أتشهد أني رسول الله قال أتشهد أني رسول الله قال الغلام أتشهد أني رسول الله قال رسول الله ﷺ تعوذوا بالله من شر هذا مرتين
