I came in to see Abu Tufayl and found him in good spirits, so I said to myself that I would seize the opportunity. I said, "Abu Tufayl, those men whom the Messenger of Allah ﷺ cursed, who among them were they?"He was about to inform me about them when a black woman said to him, "Stop, Abu Tufayl. Has it not reached you that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'O Allah, I am only a human being, so whichever believing servant I have invoked against, make it for him a means of purification and mercy'?"

دخلت على أبي الطفيل فوجدته طيب النفس فقلت لأغتنمن ذلك منه فقلت يا أبا الطفيل النفر الذين لعنهم رسول الله ﷺ من بينهم من هم فهم أن يخبرني بهم فقالت له امرأة سوداء مه يا أبا الطفيل أما بلغك أن رسول الله ﷺ قال اللهم إنما أنا بشر فأيما عبد من المؤمنين دعوت عليه دعوة فاجعلها له زكاة ورحمة
