Someone said to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, "Tell me about certain practices we used to engage in during the time of ignorance. We used to draw omens from birds."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "That is something you may sense within yourself, but do not let it turn you back."The man said, "Messenger of Allah, we used to visit fortune-tellers."He said, "Then do not visit them."
