I said, "Messenger of Allah, there are things we used to do in the days of ignorance. We would visit the soothsayers."The Prophet ﷺ replied, "Do not visit the soothsayers."I said, "And we used to draw bad omens from things."He said, "That is something one of you finds within himself. Do not let it turn you back from your purpose."
حدثنا هاشم عن ابن أبي ذئب عن الزهري عن أبي سلمة
قلت يا رسول الله أشياء كنا نصنعها في الجاهلية كنا نأتي الكهان فقال النبي ﷺ لا تأتوا الكهان قال وكنا نتطير قال ذاك شيء يجده أحدكم في نفسه فلا يصدنكم
