A man was staying as a guest in the house of Suwayd bin Muqarin. He slapped a servant on the face. Suwayd became angry and said to him, "Could you not find anywhere to strike except the noblest part of his face? I have seen myself when we were seven sons of Muqarin and we had only one servant between us. One of us slapped him, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded us, when we returned, to free him, and so we set him free."
حدثنا هشيم أنبأنا حصين
أن رجلا كان نازلا في دار سويد بن مقرن قال فلطم خادما قال فغضب سويد فقال أما وجدت إلا حر وجهه ولقد رأيتني ونحن سابع سبعة من ولد مقرن وما لنا خادم إلا واحد عمد إليه واحد فلطمه فأمرنا رسول الله ﷺ إذا رجعنا أن نعتقه فأعتقناه
Its chain of transmission is sahih, and it is like the preceding one.
