I was with Salman Farsi when he saw a man who had broken his ablution and was about to remove his leather socks to perform wudu. Salman instructed him to wipe over his leather socks and over his turban, and to wipe his forelock.Salman said, "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ wipe over his leather socks and over his head covering."
