Hudhayfah was in Madain and used to mention things that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had said. So Hudhayfah came to Salman, and Salman said, "Hudhayfah, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would become angry and speak, and he would also be pleased and speak. I know that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave a sermon and said, 'Any man of my nation whom I have insulted with an insult in my anger, or cursed with a curse, I am only a descendant of Adam. I become angry as they become angry. I was sent only as a mercy to the worlds, so make it a prayer of blessing upon him on the Day of Resurrection.'"
