He asked the Prophet ﷺ about the earnings of a cupper, and the Prophet forbade him. He asked again, and the Prophet forbade him once more. Then he mentioned his need, so the Prophet said, "Use it as feed for your camel and as food for your servants."
حدثنا عبد الرزاق أخبرنا معمر عن الزهري
أنه سأل النبي ﷺ عن كسب الحجام فنهاه فأعاد عليه فنهاه فذكر من حاجته فقال اعلف ناضحك وأطعمه رقيقك
