Haram bin Saad bin Muhaysa reported,

He had a slave who was a cupper named Abu Taybah, and the slave used to earn a substantial income. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade the earnings of cuppers, he sought a concession from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ regarding him, but the Prophet refused. He kept speaking to him about it, mentioning his need, until the Prophet finally told him, "Then put his earnings into the belly of your water-carrying camel."
