Ata reported,

He kissed his wife during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he was fasting, so he asked his wife to go and inquire of the Prophet ﷺ about it.The Prophet ﷺ said, "The Messenger of Allah does that himself."His wife informed him, and he said, "The Prophet ﷺ is granted concessions in certain matters. Go back to him and tell him."She returned to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "He says that the Prophet ﷺ is granted concessions in certain matters."The Prophet ﷺ replied, "I am the most God-fearing of you and the most knowledgeable of you regarding the limits set by Allah."

حدثنا عبد الرزاق أخبرنا ابن جريج أخبرني زيد بن أسلم عن عطاء بن يسار عن رجل من الأنصار أن الأنصاري

أخبر عطاء

أنه قبل امرأته على عهد رسول الله ﷺ وهو صائم فأمر امرأته فسألت النبي ﷺ عن ذلك فقال النبي ﷺ إن رسول الله يفعل ذلك فأخبرته امرأته فقال إن النبي ﷺ يرخص له في أشياء فارجعي إليه فقولي له فرجعت إلى النبي ﷺ فقالت قال إن النبي ﷺ يرخص له في أشياء فقال أنا أتقاكم لله وأعلمكم بحدود الله
