Its isnad is sahih. Safwan bin Abdullah Umawi is trustworthy, his hadith appears in Muslim and the Four (Sunan compilers). The hadith is well known, and the Prophet ﷺ pronounced it in the dialect of Himyar. It was narrated by Humaydi 2/381 no. 864, Darimi 2/17 nos. 1717, 1718, Ibn Majah 1/532 no. 1664, Nasai 4/174 no. 2255, Ibn Khuzayma 3/543 no. 2016, and Abdul-Razzaq 2/562 no. 4467.
