Abdullah bin Thalaba reported,

When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ looked upon the slain of Uhud, he said, "I bear witness concerning these. There is no one wounded in the cause of Allah but that Allah will raise him on the Day of Resurrection with his wound bleeding, its color the color of blood and its scent the scent of musk. Look for the one among them who memorized the most of the Quran, and place him ahead of his companions in the grave."

حدثنا يزيد بن هارون أخبرنا محمد بن إسحاق عن الزهري

عن عبد الله بن ثعلبة بن صعير قال

لما أشرف رسول الله ﷺ على قتلى أحد فقال أشهد على هؤلاء ما من مجروح جرح في الله عز وجل إلا بعثه الله يوم القيامة وجرحه يدمى اللون لون الدم والريح ريح المسك انظروا أكثرهم جمعا للقرآن فقدموه أمامهم في القبر
