Ubayd reported,

Two women were fasting, and a man came and said, "Messenger of Allah, there are two women here who have been fasting, and they are on the verge of dying of thirst."The Prophet ﷺ turned away from him, or remained silent. Then the man came back again, and I believe he said it was at midday, and said, "Prophet of Allah, by Allah, they have died, or are about to die."He said, "Bring them to me."So they came. A large bowl or cup was brought, and he said to one of them, "Vomit."She vomited pus, or blood, and matter, and flesh, until she had filled half the bowl. Then he said to the other, "Vomit."She vomited pus and blood and matter and fresh flesh and other things, until she filled the bowl.Then he said, "These two fasted from what Allah had made lawful for them and broke their fast on what Allah had forbidden them. One of them sat with the other, and they set about eating the flesh of people."

حدثنا يزيد أخبرنا سليمان وابن أبي عدي عن سليمان المعنى عن رجل حدثهم في مجلس أبي عثمان النهدي قال ابن أبي عدي عن شيخ في مجلس أبي عثمان

عن عبيد مولى رسول الله ﷺ

أن امرأتين صامتا وأن رجلا قال يا رسول الله إن هاهنا امرأتين قد صامتا وإنهما قد كادتا أن تموتا من العطش فأعرض عنه أو سكت ثم عاد وأراه قال بالهاجرة قال يا نبي الله إنهما والله قد ماتتا أو كادتا أن تموتا قال ادعهما قال فجاءتا قال فجيء بقدح أو عس فقال لإحداهما قيئي فقاءت قيحا أو دما وصديدا ولحما حتى قاءت نصف القدح ثم قال للأخرى قيئي فقاءت من قيح ودم وصديد ولحم عبيط وغيره حتى ملأت القدح ثم قال إن هاتين صامتا عما أحل الله وأفطرتا على ما حرم الله عز وجل عليهما جلست إحداهما إلى الأخرى فجعلتا يأكلان لحوم الناس
