Some Companions of the Prophet ﷺ reported,

"The time is near when the world will be ruled by the worthless son of the worthless, and the best of people will be a believer between two noble ones." He did not trace it back to the Prophet ﷺ.

حدثنا أبو كامل حدثنا إبراهيم بن سعد حدثنا ابن شهاب عن عبد الملك بن أبي بكر بن عبد الرحمن بن الحارث بن هشام عن أبيه

عن بعض أصحاب النبي ﷺ قال

يوشك أن يغلب على الدنيا لكع بن لكع وأفضل الناس مؤمن بين كريمتين لم يرفعه
