Abu Humayd reported that he brought the Prophet ﷺ a cup of milk from Naqi that was not covered. The Prophet ﷺ said, "Why did you not cover it, even by placing a stick across it?"Abu Humayd said, "The Prophet ﷺ only commanded that waterskins be tied shut and doors be closed at night."Zakariya did not mention Abu Humayd's words "at night."
حدثنا روح حدثنا ابن جريج وزكريا بن إسحاق قالا حدثنا أبو الزبير أنه سمع جابر بن عبد الله يقول أخبرني
أنه أتى النبي ﷺ بقدح لبن من النقيع ليس بمخمر فقال النبي ﷺ لولا خمرته ولو بعود تعرضه قال أبو حميد إنما أمر النبي ﷺ بالأسقية أن توكأ وبالأبواب أن تغلق ليلا ولم يذكر زكريا قول أبي حميد بالليل
