Abu Ayub reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ went out to them one day and said, "Your Lord has given me a choice between seventy thousand of my community entering Paradise without reckoning, and something He has reserved for my community with Him."One of his companions asked him, "Messenger of Allah, will your Lord reserve that for them?"Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ went inside, then came out again proclaiming Allah's greatness and said, "My Lord has increased it for me, with every thousand another seventy thousand, and what He has reserved with Him as well."Abu Ruhm said, "Abu Ayub, what do you think the reserved gift of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ is?"The people snapped at him with their mouths and said, "What have you to do with the reserved gift of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ?"Abu Ayub said, "Leave the man alone. I will tell you about the reserved gift of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as I think it to be, indeed as one certain of it. The reserved gift of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ is that he will say, 'Lord, whoever bore witness that there is no god but Allah alone, with no partner, and that Muhammad is His servant and messenger, his tongue affirming what his heart believed, admit him into Paradise.'"

حدثنا حسن بن موسى حدثنا عبد الله بن لهيعة حدثنا أبو قبيل عن عبد الله بن ناشر من بني سريع قال سمعت أبا رهم قاص أهل الشام يقول سمعت

أبا أيوب الأنصاري يقول

إن رسول الله ﷺ خرج ذات يوم إليهم فقال لهم إن ربكم عز وجل خيرني بين سبعين ألفا يدخلون الجنة بغير حساب وبين الخبيئة عنده لأمتي فقال له بعض أصحابه يا رسول الله أيخبئ ذلك ربك عز وجل فدخل رسول الله ﷺ ثم خرج وهو يكبر فقال إن ربي عز وجل زادني مع كل ألف سبعين ألفا والخبيئة عنده قال أبو رهم يا أبا أيوب وما تظن خبيئة رسول الله ﷺ فأكله الناس بأفواههم فقالوا وما أنت وخبيئة رسول الله ﷺ فقال أبو أيوب دعوا الرجل عنكم أخبركم عن خبيئة رسول الله ﷺ كما أظن بل كالمستيقن إن خبيئة رسول الله ﷺ أن يقول رب من شهد أن لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له وأن محمدا عبده ورسوله مصدقا لسانه قلبه أدخله الجنة
