Shuba once traced this back to the Prophet ﷺ, who said, "Allah will bring out a foul-smelling people whom the Fire has scorched, through the intercession of the intercessors, and He will admit them into Paradise. They will be called the Jahannamiyyun."Hajjaj said, "the Jahannamiyyin."

شعبة رفعه مرة إلى النبي ﷺ قال يخرج الله قوما منتنين قد محشتهم النار بشفاعة الشافعين فيدخلهم الجنة فيسمون الجهنميون قال حجاج الجهنميين
