The Prophet ﷺ went out and met Hudhayfah, who turned away from him. Hudhayfah then went and bathed, after which he came back.The Prophet ﷺ asked, "What was the matter with you?"He replied, "Messenger of Allah, I was in a state of major impurity."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The Muslim does not become impure."
