The Prophet ﷺ took hold of the muscle of my calf, or of his own calf, and said, "The proper place for the lower garment is here. If you insist on lowering it, then here. If you insist further, then the lower garment has no claim to the ankles," or, "the ankles have no claim to the lower garment."
